Goal. Development of a model for assessing the competitiveness of products and evaluating according to it the school form of the main domestic producers. Method. During the research methods of rating estimations and complex estimation of competitiveness of the enterprise were used. Results. The apparel competitiveness assessment model is a tree of indicators at the zero level of which is the competitiveness of products (K), at the first − there are: a complex indicator of regulatory requirements (Кнв), a complex indicator of quality of goods (Kя), a complex economic indicator (Ke) and a complex indicator that characterizes the capabilities of an enterprise in the market (Kп).The algorithm for assessing the competitiveness of school uniforms includes: assessment of compliance of competing goods with regulatory requirements and other mandatory requirements set by regulatory documents; the calculation of a comprehensive quality indicator based on the ranking of the characteristics of the goods carried out by experts; definition of a comprehensive economic indicator; calculation of the complex indicator of the enterprise capabilities with the corresponding single and complex indicators; assessment of the level of competitiveness of school uniforms of the main domestic producers. To assess the competitiveness of school uniforms in accordance with the model of competitiveness and consistency of definition, proposals have been developed and substantiated to determine: the importance of indicators of clothing products (determining the weighting coefficients of the relevant parameters in the assessment of competitiveness); quality of goods (determination of the procedure and rules of quantitative assessment of quality on the basis of parameters characterizing the use of the school uniform for its intended purpose and in the process of operation); the cost of purchasing and operating a school uniform; organizational indicators of enterprise market stability; competitiveness of school uniform. As a result of the application of the considered proposals and the assessment of the level of competitiveness of the school uniforms, calculations were made regarding the products of Khmelnichanka LLC, TM Milan, JSC Yunost Garment Company and Velma Production and Commercial Firm. The conducted researches show that the most competitive production on the market of school uniform and the best at the moment is the production of PJSC Garment Yunost. Scientific novelty. The model of estimation of competitiveness of production is developed and the competitiveness of school form of the main domestic producers is estimated. Practical importance. The model of assessment of competitiveness of school clothes is offered, based on satisfaction of normative requirements of quality of production, economic characteristics of the goods and market stability of the firm that will allow its domestic manufacturers to manage competitiveness more effectively
