Purpose. Creating competitive filter paper by developing compositions from eco-friendly fibers linseed and improving its consumption properties. Methodology. In order to determine the nomenclature of the properties of cellulose-based filter paper made from linseed fibers, standard organoleptic, modern measurement and expert methods were used. Experimental studies of the properties of filter paper were performed using standard methods and measuring instruments, namely: the mass of 1 m2 of paper made from flax oil was determined by the instrumental method according to DSTU 2297-93 (GOST 13199-94). Method of determining the mass of production with an area of 1 m2 »; determination of breathability according to DSTU 2906-94 (GOST 30114-95) (ISO 5636-1: 1984) «Paper and cardboard. Determination of air permeability (middle range). General requirements for methods»; determination of resistance to paper breakage in accordance with DSTU 3476-96 (ISO 5626-97) (ISO 5626-93) «Paper. Determination of breaking strength during multiple kinks». The results of the experimental studies were processed by mathematical and statistical methods using computer technologies. Findings. The consumer properties of the existing assortment of paper obtained from classical compositions (from cotton and wood pulp) are analyzed; the feasibility of introducing into the formulation of compositions for obtaining filter paper cellulose from linseed fibers is substantiated; the influence of different percentage composition of compositions based on cellulose from linseed fibers on the properties of filter paper is determined; The consumer properties of a new filter paper based on cellulose from linseed fibers were investigated. Originality. The regularities of the influence of cellulose from flax oil fibers on the functional and aesthetic properties and reliability of consumption of the obtained filter paper have been established. The practical value. The scientific and practical problem of determining the functional, aesthetic properties, reliability of consumption of filter paper based on cellulose from fibers of flax oil has been solved. The nomenclature of the properties of new filter paper based on flax is determined, which ensures the reliability of consumption of the obtained paper due to the optimal content of vegetable cellulose, which is safe for humans during production and use.
