Modern military form as a kind of own clothing and its improvement in Ukraine

Goal. There is an urgent need to study the current state and justify the priority development of domestic clothing for various purposes (household, medical, special, namely the military of Ukraine). Special clothing occupies an important segment in the Ukrainian market of textiles and clothing, so it requires in-depth study and identification of areas for improvement, especially in the light of the military in recent years of the joint operation. Method. This goal was achieved by analytical method. We reviewed the sources of commodity and medical literature, monitored and systematized the data obtained. Results. The topic is relevant and important, because in the life of servicemen clothing occupies a significant place. It is used to protect the body from the adverse effects of the environment: cold, excessive solar radiation, wind, rain and snow. In addition, clothing protects the human body from mechanical damage, dust, dirt and various insect bites. Military clothing also has an aesthetic value, because it adorns a person and makes it possible to recognize servicemen of services, as well as their military ranks. Field uniforms should facilitate the combat activities of servicemen: camouflage them on the ground, be comfortable in servicing military equipment and weapons, not interfere with overcoming various obstacles, including water, woods, swamps, mountains and others. However, the most important value of clothing is to reduce heat loss by the human body and provide the most favorable conditions for maintaining body temperature at a constant level. Clothing covers more than 80% of the surface of the human body. With its help, an artificial climate (microclimate) is formed around the body, which should be the most favorable (comfortable). Scientific novelty. Ukrainian specialists from the Defense Ministry's logistics reform group have developed a unique camouflage for Ukrainian soldiers, which is not recorded by night vision devices, a positive experimental wearing was carried out in the environmental protection zone, but it was not introduced in the Armed Forces. Practical meaning. In modern conditions, the search for new ways and forms of material support of troops, the creation of living conditions at a level of sufficient comfort for servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The article analyzes the existing military clothing, provides information about new developments and suggests promising areas for improvement
