Concept of design of uniform clothes for employees of hotel facilities

Goal. The aim of the work is to study the transformation of the artistic and constructive solution of uniforms of staff in hotels in accordance with the needs of society and related transformations in the field of services of hotels and modern formalwear. Methodology. During the research, the methods provided by the current standards were used. The review of sources of technical and scientific literature was carried out with the help of information-analytical methods of comparative and system-structural analysis, classification theory. Results. The article presents an analysis of the transformation of uniforms for hotels. It is revealed that the existing methods of designing special clothes do not fully satisfy the problem of designing ergonomic clothes of service personnel of hotel establishments. The paper presents the main types of uniforms for hotel staff, provides clothing options for staff in hotels, a conceptual model of the process of designing special clothing for staff in hotels. It is established that the structure of the design process of this type of clothing includes stages, grouped by levels, which characterize the consistently performing types of work to create new models of special clothing.Pre-project studies of protective and ergonomic characteristics of clothing of employees of hotel facilities need special attention, as there are no normative documents regulating the requirements for this type of clothing. All this is the basis for further research. Scientific novelty. The paper presents a conceptual model of the process of designing special clothing for employees of the hotel rooms, which provided an opportunity to determine the stages of work on the design of uniforms. It is established that the structure of the design process of this type of clothing includes stages, grouped by levels, which characterize the consistently performing types of work to create new models of special clothing. Therefore, based on the analysis, the work proves the need to expand the system of quality indicators that take into account the effects of hazardous and harmful factors, including external environmental factors in which the employee is. Practical significance. The proposed research can be used to create regulations on the uniforms of service personnel of hotel facilities.
