The aim. The formation of the range of bedding products with bulky fillers for different purposes should be based on objective information about the structure of the real needs and requirements of the population, so this topic is relevant. The purpose of this article is to study the requirements and preferences of consumers when choosing beddings with bulky fillers. Methodology. The objects of the study are beddings with bulky fillers, namely: blankets, pillows and mattresses. The survey method was used for the survey by remote questionnaire on the official website of the production company Gerd Billerbeck GmbH located in Gorenka village of Kyiv region. Results. It is determined that the available range of bedding products presented on the Ukrainian market with bulky fillers, namely: blankets, pillows, mattresses does not fully meet the expectations of consumers. It has been established that consumers of bedding products with bulky fillers prefer domestic factory products. Among the factors influencing consumers’ choice of bedding with bulky fillers are the price and value for money, hygienicity, wear resistance, color spectrum, fibrous composition of the filler and special treatment of the filler of beddings. Scientific novelty of the obtained data lies in the fact that the identification of consumer benefits and preferences by the method of remote questioning on blankets, pillows and mattress covers was studied for the first time. Practical importance of the article lies in identifying the effectiveness of using the proposed method of remote questioning in identifying consumer preferences for beddings with bulky fillers. The results of this work indicate the need to study the properties of beddings with bulky fillers that provide a comfortable microclimate during sleep and their physiological and hygienic assessment. The results obtained form the basis for the development and introduction of new types of beddings with volumetric fillers on the domestic market. It is recommended for domestic manufacturing enterprises to actively use innovative technologies for biocidal processing of textile fillers, namely: antifungal and antistatic.
