Ways to improve the material support system in the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Goal.Reorganization of the system of material support of units and subdivisions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is a difficult and in fact quite important issue because one of the guarantors of the success of troops in defending the state, protecting its sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability is the existence of such a system. functioned both in peacetime and in special periods. Therefore, the purpose of our study was a theoretical search, analysis of literature sources in the field of material security and identify ways to improve its functioning in Ukraine. Method. In writing the article, research methods such as theoretical search, logical generalization and systematic approach were used. Results. The urgency of the issue to improve of material support system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is to rethink its importance , especially in peacetime. In the conditions of modern war the role and importance of the organization of material support have considerably increased. This is confirmed by the experience of hostilities during the anti-terrorist operation, which shows that the degree of material support of combat units and units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was determined by their plan. Therefore, in theoretical terms, the study of the purpose, composition, capabilities of forces and means of material support, the basics of their use in modern operations, as well as the main issues of their organization are urgent tasks for government agencies that organize material support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in operations. The results of our work were to identify the most important ways to improve material security. Scientific novelty. In modern conditions, military and special clothing is subject to fundamentally new tactical and technical requirements. If in the relatively recent past the main attention was paid to the protection of servicemen from adverse climatic conditions, now the development of field uniforms is aimed at protecting personnel from a range of striking factors of modern weapons. The creation of new models of weapons, military equipment and their equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine required the development and adoption of a number of new items of special and protective clothing. Practical meaning. In modern conditions, the search for new ways and forms of material support of troops, the creation of living conditions at a level of sufficient comfort for servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The article analyzed the existing military clothing, provided information on new developments and suggested promising areas for improvement.
