Purpose. Formation of strategic bases of increase of competitiveness of products and services of the hospitality industry of the region on the basis of construction of a hierarchical platform of interaction of subjects of the hospitality industry in modern conditions. Method. The study is based on the analysis of scientific literature and views of foreign and domestic experts in the field of hospitality. The study also used analytical data from the World Travel and Tourism Council and the National Tourism Organization of Ukraine. In the course of organizing and conducting the research, general scientific and special methods were used, such as analysis, synthesis, comparison, in identifying destructive factors influencing the state and development of the hospitality industry. With the help of the structural-logical method the vision of introduction of modern directions of increase of competitiveness of the hospitality industry in the regions of Ukraine in the conditions of pandemic spread is presented.. Results. The content and significance of the hospitality industry in the development of regions are considered. Problematic aspects of formation and implementation of regional programs are systematized: limited public involvement; a wide range of priorities in the program; the choice of community development goals is justified not by logic but by political interests; disregard for dynamic factors influencing community development; introduction of "foreign" elements and copying of developed regions without focusing on local features; lack of thorough analysis of regional resources and assets. The expediency of creating new and developing existing unions and other associations that unite local hospitality producers has been proven. It has been determined that destination management organizations, which actively involve various stakeholders in solving competitiveness tasks, will help strengthen the competitive advantages of products and services at the regional level. To strengthen the competitive advantages of the hospitality industry in the region, it is important to develop organizational schemes for the implementation of regional policy in this area in relation to the subjects of the hospitality industry. The scientific novelty. A hierarchical platform of interaction of the subjects of the hospitality industry has been built, which determines the directions of strengthening the competitiveness of products and services of the researched sphere at different hierarchical levels. The practical significance. The proposed directions of increasing the competitiveness of the hospitality industry are the leading tools of regional development, which will quickly overcome the effects of the pandemic, promote socio-economic growth of regions and integrate regional products and services into the global tourism market
