Goal. The article identifies the main activities of commercial enterprises that ensure the competitiveness of The Copying Equipment trade, taking into account consumers and technologies. Method. The modern methods of analysis, synthesis, scientific abstraction and integrated approach are used for the research. The basic principles of range management and identification sales characteristics of the Copying Equipment studied were established. Results. The Copying Equipment is an integral part of modern life. It is used at home, office, academic institution, production, publishing house, in design. A wide range of potential consumers creates requirements for the properties and quality indicators of the Copying Equipment. They must be met by printers, scanners, copiers, as well as the pricing policy of the trading company. Unfortunately, the classification and regulatory do not meet current trends in the market of Copying Equipment and make it difficult for consumers and trading company to select the necessary devices. The article proposes an improved Classification of the Copying Equipment is based on grouping of the proposals of modern manufacturers. It includes the following groups: Portable and Low-Performance, Medium-Capacity Copiers, Production Printers, Wide Format, Multifunction and 3D-Printers. The main difference between the proposed classification is the simplification and the introduction of modern groups of copiers, such as multifunctional devices and devices for large format printing, 3D printers. The need to improve the regulatory governing the quality of Copying Equipment has also been identified. According to the research results, practical recommendations have been formed. Practical significance. The obtained research results can be used by trade enterprises during the formation of a range, the customs for registration of commodity batches of copiers, as well as of students specialties 076 Enterprise, trade and exchange activities.
